Geoff Davey will be leading a trip in the High Country over the Australia Day (extra) long weekend

Trip Classification: Medium | Vehicle Limit: 10 Departing: 9.00am BP Roadhouse on Melbourne Rd, Little River

Requirements: UHF radio, standard recovery gear, rated recovery points front and rear, good all terrains or better.

Notes: High Country including Haunted Stream Track, Swifts Creek and Dogs Grave Hut. We will travel to Deptford Campground and Old Town Site day 1. Then it will be Haunted Stream Track with about 50 (not difficult) water crossings and staying in Swifts Creek Thursday night. All going well it will be Dogs Grave Hut Friday night and either Marthavale or Angusvale Saturday night and home Sunday. The trip is in individual vehicles and outdoors with ample opportunity for social distancing, therefore checking of COVID vaccination status will not be required.
