Lake Eyre is expected to fill this year to a level not seen for 50 years. This trip is designed to take advantage of potentially a once in a lifetime opportunity and fly over the lake and Channel Country from William Creek.

The trip will be divided into 2 components to allow anyone with time restrictions to do either part alone.

1. William Creek / Lake Eyre and Wichelina Station / Willoura Range. August 7-14

2. Flinders Ranges. August 15-29

This will include Warraweena Station, Angorichina district, Arkoroola district and the Bendleby Ranges.

The currently advertised cost of flights are from $410 up depending on what you want to do.

There are also costs to stay on the Stations which are privately run.

It is OK to do the trip but not do the flight from William Creek.

Flights and Station Stays will need to be booked well in advance so please speak to Geoff ASAP if interested.

An overarching concept here is to not be in a hurry or under time pressures to make camp.
