This is an easy touring trip through the Otways where we will be staying at Dando’s Campground.
Meetup will be at Waurn Ponds Bunnings 9.30am Friday 18th July.
Sunday 20th July will be a scenic trip back to Geelong via Apollo Bay and Great Ocean Road with plans to drop into a local Cafe/Bakery (optional).
Dando’s is tentative with the weather and there will be a backup TBC closer to the date.
Camping will need to be tent/swag or RTT. Open to campers if you’re familiar with the campground and know you wont have issues getting in. It will be cold/wet so pack accordingly.
Vehicle requirements: Rated front and rear recovery points, Shackles & Snatch, A/T or M/T tyres, UHF.
The plan is to make our way through some easy tracks to explore some of the local scenery including Beauchamp Falls, Hopetoun Falls, the Redwoods. There will be a bit of walking involved.
