The Geelong Four Wheel Drive Club, incorporated in 1973, is a family orientated club with outings designed to suit all experience levels. The club caters for the MILD right up to those more adventurous souls looking for the WILD. The club specialises in organising day trips and weekends away camping. Great family fun for people wanting to gain experience or improve skills whilst enjoying the outdoors.
Monthly meetings are held at the Seaview Club, 335 Bluestone Bridge Rd, Lovely Banks, on the 2nd Wednesday each month at 7.30pm. Visitors and new members welcomed. For more information contact Dave Hamann, club president or check out our contacts list for other details.
Parks Victoria and DSE have developed a document to inform visitors and stakeholders about the expected dates for re-opening access to areas burnt by the
Great Dividing Range and Hermit Mountain fires during the summer of 2006-2007. If you are planning on heading out on a trip to this area then download a copy of the document to see which tracks are open.
Four Wheel Drive Victoria has been working hard to develop a new website for the association. The site is designed to be easy to navigate and informative for clubs, members and general members of the public. The new site is up and running and can be accessed using the existing website address www.fwdvictoria.org.au
